Samoa

There are many interesting places visitors might want to check out in American Samoa . Some of these include Tula Village and Amanave Village , where tourists would have the unique opportunity to see the beauty of the volcanic remains, all along the coastline. The harbor of Pago Pago is a must-see: a harbor constructed on the crater of a long-erupted volcano. Visitors often head to Pago Plaza that ran across three different Islands.

There is Forbidden Bay , reportedly classified as one of the prettiest bays in the South Pacific. And visitors often troop to Ta'u Island, which is historically referred to as the origin of Polynesians. This Island is accorded a sacred status, like a temple or shrine.

Samoa travel

American Samoa offers several treats to hikers: visitors could happily go mountain climbing at Aoloau. They could trace many marked trails that lead directly into the heart of the Islands.

American Samoan white, sandy beaches are beautiful, and offer opportunities for swimming, kayaking, snorkeling and diving. People normally surf at Leone Bay , Carter Beach and Alofay Bay . Fagatele Bay National Marine Sanctuary that was founded to save the coral reefs and marine creatures is a nice spot for divers.

For those who care about game fishing, American Samoa would provide a wonderful lasting experience. Shipping vessels or boats could be rented through tour operators, and these vessels have in-built finishing gadgets that would make the fishing easy and enjoyable. And to those who could not operate the vessels themselves, ready domestic helpers are always around to guide the visitors in their excursions.

The entertainment in American Samoa is alive and vibrant: there are traditional dances in colorful attires and ladies swaying their wasting to alluring music; there are traditional feasts like fia fia, and traditional “turtle and shark” performance that are too tempting to be missed.
