Because of its remote location, very few tourists have decided to go to Kiribati . This makes the Island the world's best-kept treasure, as its beaches remain clean, undisturbed and beautiful. The reality is that the underdeveloped tourism in the Island doesn't help the young economy of the country to flourish.

Like other South Pacific islands, game fishing is very popular in Kiribati . And there are also canoeing and dancing contests that no one would love to miss.

The entertainment in Kiribati is more or less traditional. Dances, singing and other traditional activities are held in traditional meetinghouses. However, there are nightclubs, bars and pubs that tend to care for foreign tourists' needs.
