Guam's commercial port is the islands lifeline as all of the products Guam needs must be shipped. Guam possesses no true cities, as no area has a population greater than 50,000; therefore each “city” represents individual townships.

The most visited tourist location in Guam is the War in the Pacific National Historical Park where several battlefields from World War II, gun locations, trenches, and other structures of historical value display the as terrible truth of the terribly bloody battles fought over Guam. Although Guam is celebrated for its history, the temperate climate, amazing turquoise waters and sandy beaches beckon tourists to enjoy Guam's natural beauty.

Transport

The Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport is the main airport servicing Guam. The island is outside the United States customs zone and therefore maintains its own customs jurisdiction. Passengers arriving directly from the United States are not required to undergo federal immigration and proceed only to customs. However, travelers who use a foreign point (such as a Japanese airport) are required to use a passport. The main airline servicing Guam is Continental Micronesia, offering nonstop service to Honolulu in Hawaii and other locations in Asia, Australia, and Micronesia. The major airline that flies into Guam is the Continental Micronesia Airlines, which is owned by Continental Airlines. Other airlines include Korean Airlines, and China Airlines.
